Cloaked in the remnants of royal regalia and bearing a massive sword and reinforced shield, he radiates the melancholy of a warrior who refused to accept defeat even in death. Local legends in Pailune speak of a king who made a terrible pact with the mountains themselves, trading his humanity for the power to defend his people, only to outlive them all and become the very danger he sought to prevent.

The Staglord is one of the most demanding early-to-mid game encounters in Crimson Desert, featuring three distinct HP bars that represent escalating phases of his fury. His first phase emphasizes measured, powerful sword swings and shield bashes that demand precise blocking and parrying. In his second phase he begins incorporating devastating leaping attacks, marked by a distinctive antler-creak sound cue, that cover enormous ground and must be dodged rather than blocked.
