Multishot

Multishot fires multiple arrows in a rapid volley from a single draw, hitting multiple targets or stacking damage on a single enemy. In the Blue Stamina Archery branch, Multishot is the go-to ability for group clearing from range: a well-aimed Multishot volley can hit three to five closely grouped enemies, applying any active Imbue Elements effects to each hit. The number of arrows and their spread pattern improve with Archery skill rank.

Against large enemy formations like Black Bear patrols in Pailune or Goblin Raider swarms, Multishot from elevation creates a rapid damage-and-interrupt burst across the entire group before they can close distance. Combined with Elemental Charged Shot from the Imbue Elements upgrade, alternating Multishot volleys with single Elemental Charged Shots creates a rhythm of burst-and-precision that keeps the group staggered and scattered throughout the engagement.

Multishot synergizes strongly with the Archery playstyle's Evasive Shot mobility: use Multishot for close-to-medium engagement density, dodge back with Evasive Shot when enemies close distance, reload and re-engage with Multishot from the new position. This loop maintains constant ranged pressure while never allowing direct melee contact, a playstyle particularly effective against the Black Bear Captain mini-bosses who have limited ranged counters.

As Multishot upgrades through Abyss Artifact investment, the arrow count increases from three to five and eventually seven at maximum rank, and each arrow gains independent critical hit rolls. This means that combining Multishot with Focus's critical hit chance buff creates devastating volleys where multiple arrows crit simultaneously, producing burst damage that rivals dedicated single-target abilities. Advanced archers also benefit from crafting elemental arrows at Marni's Masterium, as each arrow in the Multishot volley carries the full elemental effect, allowing a single volley to stack multiple instances of Burning, Frostbite, or Shock on every target hit.

Multishot fires a spread of arrows in a cone pattern, hitting multiple enemies simultaneously and making it the Bow's primary area-of-effect ability. It excels against groups of weaker enemies and can apply pressure across a wide front during large-scale battles. Combine Multishot with Attack Speed Potions for rapid-fire volleys that decimate approaching hordes, and upgrade it to increase the number of arrows per volley for even wider coverage.
