Iron Ore

Iron Ore is the most fundamental mining resource in Crimson Desert, used as a base material for crafting Iron-tier weapons, armor, and tools. Found at mining nodes throughout the Hernand region, Iron Ore deposits appear as dark rocky outcrops that can be harvested with any pickaxe.

Mining Iron Ore is one of the first gathering activities available to players. The richest Iron Ore deposits are found in the hills surrounding Hernand Castle and the rocky terrain near Roothold. Players should establish a farming route early, as Iron Ore is consumed in large quantities during the initial equipment upgrade phase.
