Alchemy is a crafting activity performed at an Alchemy Lab. Combining specific reagents in the correct formulas produces potions, elixirs, and other consumables that provide combat and exploration advantages.

Marni's Masterium houses the most advanced Alchemy Lab in the game, where players can craft everything from basic healing salves to powerful Attack Speed Potions and Spirit Gauge Restores. Experimenting with ingredient combinations beyond the known recipes occasionally yields discovery bonuses and unlocks hidden formulas not available through any quest or vendor. Players who prioritize alchemy early gain a significant combat advantage throughout the mid-game, as a well-stocked potion belt effectively adds multiple extra ability uses per encounter, and the Alchemy Lab's upgrade path eventually allows batch crafting that produces multiple potions per ingredient set.

Alchemy combines gathered ingredients through experimental mixing to produce powerful potions, elixirs, and consumables that provide significant combat advantages.
