Dropkick is a two-footed flying kick that propels Kliff horizontally forward into a single target at high speed, delivering a forceful knockback effect on contact. Unlike Flying Kick (which targets a single enemy for stagger) or Meteor Kick (which is vertical with area shockwave), Dropkick prioritizes pushing the target away, making it one of the game's best repositioning tools for both creating space and knocking enemies into hazards.
The knockback properties of Dropkick have strategic environmental applications: near cliffs in Savage Peaks or Frozen Soul Mountain, Dropkick can launch enemies off ledges entirely. In The Bonepit arena fight against Muskan, Dropkick pushes him into the arena walls, interrupting his charge pattern and providing a free attack window. This environmental awareness transforms what appears to be a straightforward damage ability into a sophisticated positioning tool.
Dropkick also interrupts enemy attack animations on contact: landing a Dropkick during the wind-up of a telegraphed attack cancels the attack entirely, which is particularly useful against Black Bear Berserkers whose relentless charges are otherwise difficult to interrupt. Combined with Clothesline as a follow-up (Dropkick creates knockback distance, sprint follow-up delivers Clothesline), the sequence chains into a powerful two-hit crowd-control combo.
